MAINTENANCE GUIDE
Regular cleaning is important in order to prolong your new products life and with the right care from you, it will remain lovely for many years to come. Before using your new stonewashed canvas item, please read this guide to ensure a soft, clean and comfortable chair.
BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT /
Before using the product we recommend cleaning it like you would do normally. Then we would advise you to use Guardian Textile Protection to secure a dirt-repelling surface. Follow the instruction on the bottle.
Try to avoid placing your furniture in direct sunlight. It is not uncommon for fabric to discolour when exposed to light, especially brightly colored and dark fabrics.
ONGOING MAINTENANCE /
We recommend removing dust on a regular basis from the fabric, because it heightens the wear and tear of the product. By regularly cleaning and removing dirt before it settles you keep the fibers from being damaged. Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush once a week on every surface. Do not let pets lie on your furniture to avoid scratches on the covering.
STAINS AND SMUDGING /
Any stains must be removed immediately. The longer the stain remains on the fabric, the more difficult it will be to treat. Use an absorbent dry cloth to remove the stain and clean the area. Make sure to dry the fabric fully before use. If there is to be any smudging on the fabric, we recommend using Guardian Textile Cleaner. Follow the instruction on the bottle.
