Aion
Aion is a series of raw home accessories, designed with a sculptural and rugged expression in iron, bringing contrast and style into any interior. The series consists of hooks, candle holders, and tealight holders, inspired by the irregular shapes found in nature.
Inspired by natural branches
Designer Birgitte Rømer has crafted the form for parts of the Aion series. The distinctive candleholders with three legs are handcrafted, designed to resemble branches by carving and shaping the wood. Subsequently, the original models are cast in sand, to ultimately cast each product in iron, imparting a unique and stylish expression to each item.
The remaining part of the series is created with nature in mind and inspired by the handmade expression. The series is tied together by the raw expression and simple design, which are characteristic for the Muubs design universe.
